Geneva State Park

Geneva, OH

Geneva State Park is an Ohio state park. ReserveOhio lists 118 campsites there: 39 with water, electric and sewer, 72 with electric, 7 without electric. The 698-acre park is on Ohio's northeastern Lake Erie shoreline and has a sand beach, fishing and boating. Maximum camping unit lengths listed on the sites run from 38 to 90 feet.

Geneva State Park offers lakefront access with a mix of sandy and smooth-stone beaches, a marina, picnic areas and a campground. There are paved walking and bike trails connecting the lodge, beach and campsites, plus several well-maintained restrooms and large parking areas. The park is popular for sea-glass and rock hunting, seasonal recreation and quiet winter visits when it’s much less crowded. Practical notes: parts of the beach are rocky and can get hot or uncomfortable barefoot, some pet restrictions apply, and it can be busy in peak season. Nearby Geneva-on-the-Lake provides dining and lodging options.

Listed rating: 4.7
