Mohican State Park

The 1,110-acre park adjoins a 4,525-acre state forest and includes Clear Fork Gorge, hemlock forest and the Mohican River.

Campground sites and cabins are frequently described as clean, spacious, and comfortable, with a stocked camp store, functioning showers, and friendly staff. Practical tradeoffs include occasional unclear trail signage at some junctions and a few river-access points with minimal amenities (portable toilets only); fishing can be limited in certain areas.
